Obituary

NEW BERN - Freddie Lee Bradshaw, 63, of 841 Pavie Ave., died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was a veteran of the Army and served during the Vietnam War. He held membership at Mt. Zion Holy Church and was formerly employed at Hatteras Yachts.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Mt. Zion Holy Church, Eubanks Street, with Wanda Francisco officiating.

He is survived by four sons, Freddie Lee Bradshaw Jr. of Baltimore, Md., Anthony Hamilton Austin, Texas, and Bobby Hicks and Harold Ambrose, both of New Bern; four daughters, Nicole Bradshaw and Tonya Bradshaw, both of Baltimore, Md., and Knickie Hicks and Shaniece Hicks, both of New Bern; and one brother, Thomas Cox of New Bern.
