I had the pleasure of taking care of Mrs. Boyd while she lived in the nursing home. She was so beautiful and sweet and so very kind. She always had a smile on her face and would say "You look mighty pretty" or "You are mighty sweet" when any of us would enter her room and take care of her. I will miss her terribly. She was a highlight to my day and I would look forward to talking with her. She will be fondly remembered. I know that you all do not know me but just know that I loved her.

To Katherine's family..My name is Linda and I got to know Katherine while visiting my husband in the nursing home..
She stole my heart the first time I stopped by her room and talked with her..She was a delight and made my day
each time we talked.. She would be in her wheel chair and I would sit in the
blue checked chair. Our talks were great we might not have always understood the
words we said to each other..but they
were precious words to me.. I work and we would talk about my day and her day.. she always told me to make sure I rested when I got home.. I would tell her how much I loved her and she would tell me how sweet I was and how she looked forward to me stopping by.. But she was the one that made my day.. As she started to get weaker I would hold her
hand and our converstaions didn't have as many words..but we still communicated..with a smile or just holding hands.. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life for the short time.. I have a couple of pictures of us on my phone and they will always be a reminder of my friend Katherine.. My heart breaks for you her family.. She was a beautiful woman with lots of class.. She was always dressed and I would tell her how beautiful she was and we would smile and hug each other.. I know I am a stranger to you..but I just wanted to share with you how special Katerhine was to me.. Bless each of you..
