Pamela Ann Boddington (Pam) Green, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 after a long illness. She was born November 11, 1934 in Oakham, Rutland in the East Midlands of England.
She is preceded in death by her by her husband, Dannie Joe Green, her parents and brother. She leaves her sister-in-law, Faye Green Byer, niece, Julie Antonelli, and nephew, Billy C Green, Jr.
Pam and Joe Green were married November 4, 1975. They had no children. They spent most of their working days in England and Germany where Chief Master Sergeant Green served in the United States Air Force. Pam worked for the Air Force as a secretary at Spangdahlem Air Force Base until his retirement in 1988.
Pam and Joe Green moved to River Bend, New Bern, after his retirement. Mrs. Green worked for the Craven County School Board before retiring in 1998. They were both active members of the New Bern Elks.
Mrs. Green will be interred with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
