PEQUANNOCK, NJ - Patricia Kaming Moore formerly of New Bern, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at the age of 82 at Chilton Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. The beloved wife of the late Arthur F. Moore for over 38 years, she is survived by her two loving sons Andrew Moore of Pequannock, NJ, Steven Moore and his wife Martha of Quincy, MA, grandchildren Sarah and Charles Moore of Pequannock NJ and her brother Joseph Kaming of New York, NY.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Patricia was a graduate of the Buffalo Seminary, Class of 1949. She graduated from Endicott Jr. College in 1951. Shortly after college she married Arthur Moore. They resided Marblehead, MA, Thomaston, ME, Topsfield, MA, and Chatham Township, NJ, before moving to New Bern, NC, in 1987 where she lived for the next 19 years before moving to Pequannock NJ.
Patricia spent the majority of her life as a homemaker for her family. Family and friends will remember her passion for playing bridge or any other card game. She also stayed active by gardening, traveling with friends, and by working on numerous craft projects. Patricia always had a flair for the uncommon and could often simultaneously both astonish and bewilder you with her creativity. Patricia loved to laugh and spend time with both long-time and newly made friends. Nobody ever lacked for excitement when Patricia was around. Family and friends will miss the way Patricia could make any occasion special and all will miss her sense of style and elegance. Family and friends will be gathering in New Bern, NC, on October 11, 2013, for a memorial service to celebrate her life.
