Patrick Joseph Daly, 80, of Fairfield Harbour, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.He was born in Cape Clear Island, Ireland and was a member of the Merchant Marines. He relocated to New York and was employed by the New York City Board of Education and Shell Oil Company. He retired to Fairfield Harbour and became a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council No. 3303. He volunteered with many programs including the ramp building and Historic St. Paul Church Grounds.
A funeral mass will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Daly of the home and brother, Eugene Daly of England.
