VANCEBORO - Thelma Jean Nobles (Mickey), 73, left this world peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, after suffering from terminal liver cancer.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Nobles; daughter, Susan Nestler and son in-law, Ray, of Vernal, Utah; son, Robert Earl Nobles and daughter in-law, Charlotte, of Vanceboro; grandsons, Robert Earl Nobles, Jr., of Vanceboro and Camden Nestler, of Vernal, Utah; granddaughter, Kylie Nestler, of Vernal, Utah; two great-grandsons, Robert Earl Nobles, III (Fisher) and Daniel Christopher Nobles, of Vanceboro; and a sister, Isabelle Heatly, of Vanceboro.

Special thanks to Dr. Babb and staff at Craven Primary in Vanceboro, Community Home Health & Hospice, of New Bern, and also Jessie James, Sabrina Gaskins and aides, Mrs. Belinda and Mrs. Wanda.
