Thurman Earl Clark Sr.


VANCEBORO - Thurman Earl Clark Sr., 67, of 546 Clark Road, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

He was a native of Beaufort County and a member of St. Peter OFWB Church where he served as a deacon, member of the Male Chorus, and Deacon's Fellowship.

His funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at St. Peter OFWB Church in Vanceboro. Burial will be in the Clark Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Clark Campbell of Vanceboro; four sons, Thurman Clark Jr. of Boone, Frederick Clark of Harrisburg, Pa., Christopher Wesley and Ritchie Wesley, both of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Lucinda Clark and Jacqueline Jones, both of New York and Angel Wesley of Greenville; two brothers, Claude Campbell and Orlando Campbell, both of Vanceboro; four sisters, Rachel Ham, Velma Cox, and Gail Lovick, all of New Bern; and Hattie Mae Black of Manassas, Va.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the church.
