VANCEBORO | Charlotte Hart Blythe, 63, of Vanceboro, NC, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2014.
A graveside service was held on July 28, 2014, in Charlotte's honor by Cotten Funeral Home at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Charlotte was born in New Bern, NC on March 9, 1951 to the late Dorthy "Doris" Hartzell Blythe and the late Julian H. Blythe. She graduated as one of the top in her class and became a nurse in 1976. In her past-time she loved the beach, gardening, horses, four-wheeling, and dancing "the shag." She also loved traveling! She followed the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two sisters, JoAnn Barbre (Bill) of Ormand Beach, FL, and Louise Gmitter (Joe) of Akron, OH; her son, David Jones (Pam) of North Lima, OH, and three daughters, Missie Grover (Chuck) of Havelock, NC and Jennifer Paddie (Dallis) of New Bern, NC, Sharon Martin (Jack) of Elmira, NY, and son, Naif Batraney of Elmira, NY.
She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will never be forgotten!
