A native of New Bern, she was employed as a supervisor in the Bakery Industry, Bronx, N.Y. She was the sister of Donnie Powell and Luberta Brown.
Her graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. James Bullock, officiating.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the residence of Bobby and Angela Lindsey, 818 Charmer Court.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to
6 p.m. Friday, at Oscar's Mortuary.
