WILMINGTON - Mr. Luther "Luke" Jefferson Boyette, 58, of 609 Trails End Road, formerly of 864 Kader Merritt Road, Rose Hill (Delway), died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in New Hanover County.

A funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 8th, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with the Reverend Chubby Reiber officiating.

Mr. Boyette, born in Sampson County, was the son of the late Clemon Martha Boyette and Electa Moore Boyette Davis. He was the owner/operator of Sampson Roller and Hydrostatic where he worked as a diesel mechanic.

He is survived by a son, Charles Ray Boyette of New Bern; a granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Boyette of New Bern; a sister, Mary Boyette Emery of Clinton; four brothers, Clemon Boyette of Wilmington, Lee Boyette of Rose Hill, Arthur Boyette of Salemburg, and Jasper Boyette of Clinton.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his sister, Mary Emery, 1190 King Road, Clinton, NC.
