NEWBERRY — Faye Lathrop White Heath, 77, of Brookside Manor, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.
Mrs. Heath was born on Aug. 5, 1936 in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Daniel P. and Bessie Crouch Lathrop.
She was a member of the Chapin Baptist Church in Chapin and loved camping and was a big NASCAR fan. Mrs. Heath retired from the Best Western Motel in Newberry.
She was first married to the late J. K. White and second to the late Eugene Heath.
Mrs. Heath is survived by her children, Robin (Paul) Long of Newberry, Candy (Scott) Frick of Little Mountain and Marty (Donna) White of Newberry; sisters, Gladys Coats of Newberry and Laverne Hawkins of Gray Court; grandchildren, Monica Floyd, Jeremy (Cassie) White, Cayse (R. J.) Dowd, Haylie Frick, Reagan Frick, and Justin Frick; step-grandchildren, Kimberly (Wesley) McCaskill and Jason Long; great grandchildren, Heath Floyd, Lukas Floyd,
J. D. White, Joslynn White, Trey Dowd, and Cooper Dowd; step-great grandchildren, Chelsea, Ryan, and Chloe McCaskill and Andrew and Brooklyn Long; and a very close friend, Ms Era. She was predeceased by her long time friend, Vivian Shealy.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 by the Rev. Philip Vaughn in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
