LITTLE MOUNTAIN — Funeral services for Kathryn Coliene Bickley Arthur, 83, of Little Mountain, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Active and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Little Mountain Rescue, PO Box 8, Little Mountain, SC.
Coliene was born on March 30, 1930 in Little Mountain to Gary and Kathleen Bickley of Little Mountain and was the wife of the late Forrest Eugene Arthur of Key West, Fla. She passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at Lexington Medical Center.
Coliene started her career at Bell Telephone Company in Columbia in 1951 when she met Forrest Arthur serving at Ft. Jackson Army base. Her most recent work was over 25 years at Jack's Diner in Hilton. Her passion was her love and caring for her family and those she embraced as her family. Coliene was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was a humble and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Toni Fulmer (Marion) of Chapin, Cathy Monts (Bobby) and Tracie Stafford (Neil) of Little Mountain, Andrea Frick (Stanley) of Chapin; son, Mike Arthur (Melba) of Naples Florida, She is survived by and was beloved by 12 grandchildren, Dawn Mitchem (James) of Chapin, David Fulmer (Allison) of Little Mountain, Cliff Fulmer (George Brugger) of Columbia, Jason Fulmer (Mandi) of Pomaria, Asheigh(Shawn) Mitchem of Prosperity, Kayla Monts, Amanda Wright (Clay) and Josh Monts of Little Mountain, Stephanie Stafford of Newberry, Kylie and Stacy Frick of Chapin and Heather (Jim) Worthy of Leesburg. She is also survived by and beloved by 13 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Lexington Medical Center Critical care Unit and Chaplain for their loving care.
