LITTLE MOUNTAIN — "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Psalm 118:17

Kathy Lynn Addison Derrick, age 57, devoted servant of God, loving wife of Rev. Randy S. Derrick, and mother of daughters Jennifer Paige Derrick Rister and Elizabeth Anne Derrick, joined the Lord in heaven on July 22, 2014.

She leaves behind her mother, Frances Addison of Union, SC, her sister Janice A. Wilson of Lexington, SC and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Kathy is predeceased by her father, John G. Addison, Sr., sister, Dale A. Nelson, and brother, John G. Addison, Jr.

Throughout Kathy's 7 ½ year illness, she never lost faith and hope in Jesus, her Lord. Instead, she grew closer to God and touched untold numbers of people with her laughter, smile, and inspiration. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday in the Parish Hall of the church with viewing in the Sanctuary.
