Lyman "Guy" H. Bergemann, Jr, 76, of New Milford, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Danbury, April 30, 1937, son of the late Lyman H and Lillie (Swett) Bergemann.
He was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather and friend to many. Guy worked for CT Department of Transportation highway maintenance, until his retirement. He was a volunteer fireman with the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department, member of Gaylordsville United Methodist Church and Odd Fellows Good Shepard Lodge No.65. He was avid UCONN Women's Basketball fan and enjoyed attending antique car shows.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Audrey Bergemann; son: Tyler Bergemann and his wife Alison of New Milford; daughter: Lori McManemin and husband Jim of New Fairfield; two sisters: Judith Gereg of Litchfield and Patricia Hill of Durham and six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. His sister Joan Killian and brother David Bergemann preceded him in death.
