Richard Sweet Obituary
He was born May 20, 1933, in Cleveland.
Mr. Sweet was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, V.F.W. and the American Contract Bridge League.
He retired from T.R.W. as an engineer, after 34 years of service.
Survivors are his sister, Alma Heintz; nephew, George (Tracy) Heintz; nieces, Kathleen (Wayne) Riggle, Deborah Heintz and Mary Jane Heintz; great-nephews, Matthew and Bradley Riggle; great-niece, MaKayla Heintz; and dear friend, Martha Liedtke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Sweet; children, Joseph and Anne Sweet; and parents, Louis and Helen Sweet.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in Richard's name.
