Deb-
Please let your mom, Sarah and Adam know how sad we were to open the newspaper and find this announcement. "Sarah's Grandfather" was always a warm person to see at Home Depot, at the Harvey Play as well as at all the events the kids were in! Tom and Betty were so involved with our community and brought a smile to anyone that knew the two. Tom will be missed and we are very sorry to hear of his passing!

Betty and Debbie,
I was sorry to hear of Tom's passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow. What great neighbors you were too when we lived on Hillbrook Rd. I remember helping Tom get appliances out of Scneck's store, the morning of the "flood of '72, and getting them to higher ground, namely your garage. Those were the good old days. I was working at Schneck's at the time too, and I think Tom had a truck at the time. Feel free to contact me. I'm still living in Elmira. Rest in peace Tom. Regards Dennis King

We got to know Tom when he installed our kitchen floor twenty years ago. He said it was the largest laminate job he had ever done. He did a beautiful job and was an absolute pleasure. I'm sure God is saying "Well done good and faithful servant." Rest in peace. Our condolences to the family.

Tom was known as the "candy man" at Home Depot. He always had a smile and said Hello to you by name. He was a well spring of information and will be missed by us all. God Bless You Tom.

Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. I was Tom's Human Resource Manager at Home Depot for several years and I will fondly remember helping him with those awful computers! I will always remember his kindness, his love of his family and his big heart. Even though I moved away, I thought of him often. The day I moved he presented me with a beautiful necklace of the tree of life which I cherish. He will be in my prayers forever. It was an honor to have known and worked with him.
