Dorothy Poole Obituary

Dorothy (nee Richards) Poole, 78, of Newbury, died Oct. 3, 2013, at Briar Hill Care Center in Middlefield.
Born Sept. 25, 1935, in Chagrin Falls, to Albert and Mary (nee Pike) Richards, she had been a lifelong area resident.
Survivors include her husband, James of Newbury; daughter, Cindy (Frank) Goldman of Massachusetts; son, Thomas (Cindy) of Huntsburg; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane (Lee) Koroshes of Burton and Marjorie Tinge of Troy; and nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Donations are suggested to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty, OH 44072.
