Gloria A. (Eget) Clipper Prelock, age 64, of Wickliffe, formerly of Willoughby, passed away surrounded by her family March 20, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Spangler, Pa.
Mrs. Prelock had worked for Studio 305, in Willowick. Before that, she had owned and operated Clipper's Cut & Curl in Willowick.
She was a member of St. Noel Catholic Church in Willoughby Hills, where she was an usher/greeter. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Robert T. Prelock; children, Darin J. (Tracey) Clipper of McDonough, Ga., Danielle (Daniel P.) Hart of Pittsburgh, Pa., Julianna (Paul) Emery of Concord Township, Donald S. Clipper of Florida, Matthew (Esther) Prelock of Lafayette, Ind., Roberta (Scott) Hamilton of Willoughby, Claudia (Edward) Cogan of Willoughby, Lisa (Jeff) Vojtko of Willoughby and Stephen Prelock of Willowick; 15 grandchildren; twin sister, Georgette (George) Kutsor of Illinois; sister, Joanne (Ham) Lunardi of Willoughby; brother, James (Doris) Eget of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine Eget; and first husband, Donald J. Clipper.
Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094. (Please meet at the church.)
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Inurnment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Northern Cambria, Pa.

The world lost a loving soul in Gloria. She was so genuine and always had a kind word to share. She had a very special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. Know that she will live on in all those lives that she touched. Be at peace.
