Heath, Marion Elizabeth "Betty" (Allen)*  
Marion Elizabeth "Betty" Heath (nee Allen) passed away on Feb. 11, 2015, at the age of 91 at the Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan, N.Y. after a brave battle with cancer. Betty was born on July 11, 1923, in Erie, Pa., but spent much of her life in Lakewood, Ohio where she was an active member of the Lakewood Presbyterian Church, playing in the bell choir and serving on the library committee. At the age of 59, she moved to Bay Village and became a beloved Montessori teacher until her retirement six years later. She moved to the Legacy at the Fairways in Victor, N.Y. in 2008 to be closer to family. There she was fondly known as "Betty from Ohio", sang in the choir, attended many social functions, and knew most of the residents by name. She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Lamb of Rocky River; four children, Nancy (Larry) Shover of Delhi, Iowa, Patti Mast of Apex, N.C., Marilyn (Doug) Geckeler of Columbus, Allen (Lianne) Heath of Victor, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A celebration of Betty's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. James C. Butler will be officiating. Final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery in Madison, Ohio. Her family would particularly like to thank and acknowledge Dr. Philip Meaker, Comfort Keepers, and the volunteers at Keuka Comfort Care Home for the care they provided to Betty. Heil, Marjorie (Brockhurst)*  
Marjorie (nee Brockhurst) Heil, 90, passed away June 27, 2015 at Burton Health Care. She was born in Ashtabula on September 12, 1924 to the late Albert and Mary (nee Clayton) Brockhurst. She lived in Ashtabula, Perry and West Farmington. Mrs. Heil was a baker and cake decorator for the Swedish Pastry shop in Ashtabula for over 30 years. She loved to crochet, knit and travel with her husband. She will be remembered for being a very strong willed and hardworking women who loved her family very much. Marjorie was the beloved mother of Tom (wife Diane) of Perry, Jerry (wife Becki) of Jefferson, Dennis (wife Bobbi) of Ashtabula and Bonnie Prosser (husband Joe) of West Farmington and a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many. Mrs. Heil is preceded in death by husband Howard, who died in 1985; a brother, Albert Brockhurst; and a sister, Arlene Murphy. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Burial following at Perry Township Cemetery. Hoffman, Betty Jane (Nydahl)*  
Betty Jane (Nydahl) Hoffman passed away peacefully on June 6, 2015. She was born October 6, 1922 in Canton, Ohio. She served proudly in the Army Nursing Corp. during WWII, stationed in England. She is survived by her step- children; Joan (Mike deceased) Croye, Nanci (Dan) Seman, and Gary (Jetha, deceased), also survived by her children Lynn (Jim) Aschbacher and Kurt (Lori). She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Hoffman is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth. A life memorial will be held July 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 8125 Mentor Ave, Mentor, Ohio 44060. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the church or the Lake County VFW. Arrangements provided by Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, Chagrin Falls.
