Knopf, Edward A.*  
Funeral services for Edward A. Knopf, 92, of Willoughby, will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Chris Weber will officiate. Mr. Knopf passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at his residence in Willoughby. Born Sept. 2, 1922, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 57 years, living in Willoughby. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the beloved husband of 71 years to Mary E. (nee Huelsman) Knopf; loving father of Mary Kaye Zabor of Gurnee, Ill.; father-in-law of Andrew DiGiuseppi of Wenzeville, Mo.; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Sean, Nichole, Brie and Trista; great-grandfather of 11; brother of Ruth Mathey and Judy Stalzer; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl A. DiGiuseppi; grandson, Andrew; parents, Adolpf and Lydia (nee Schmidt) Knopf; and siblings, Walter Knopf and Lorrie Knopf. Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Koelble, Charles P. "Chuck"*  
Charles P. "Chuck" Koelble, 88, a longtime Mentor resident passed away peacefully Tuesday January 27, 2015 at his daughter's home in Willoughby. He was born April 1, 1926 in Canton. Chuck worked for many years as a sports editor and community editor at the Canton Repository, the Dover Times Reporter, the Lima News and most recently The News Herald. A U.S. Army veteran Chuck graduated from Timken Vocational High School in Canton in 1944. Survivors are his children, Timothy (Susan) Koelble , Christine (Bob) Johnson, Kathleen Cox , Kevin (Victoria) Koelble and Patricia (Larry) Rymer; grandchildren, Tina Russo, Brian and Eric Wohlfeil, Melissa Broyles, Megan Roberts, Kyle Koelble and Justin, Jenna and Joshua Rymer; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Kaanan, Olivia, Joey, Savannah, Mason, Cataleya, Donovan and Calvin. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret "Peg" Koelble; his infant son, Bruce Charles; parents, Charles P. and Clara Koelble; and his sister Edna Weisbrod. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery. Koncilja, Albina Anne (Raischel)*  
Albina Anne (Raischel) Koncilja, 92, of Mentor on the Lake for the past 24 years went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Cleveland. She was born November 3, 1922 in Yugoslavia. Mrs. Koncilja was a homemaker. A graduate of the Huron Road Nursing School class of 1945 she was a registered nurse in her early years. Survivors are her husband Frank whom she was married to for 64 years; her children, Jacquelyn Fender, Jeanne Weyandt, Frank (Colleen) Koncilja and Nancy (Alan) Gurish. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Richard, Paul, Nancy, Julianne and Kaitlin; and her 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Blas and Frances Raischel; her brother, Jack Raischel; and her nephew, Jack Raischel. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Koncilja, Victor*  
Victor Koncilja, age 84, of Willoughby Hills, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by family on January 17, 2015. He was born February 11, 1930, in Collinwood, Ohio. Vic was employed as a brakeman/conductor for New York Central (Conrail) railroad for 40 years. He loved his family and helping others. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Collinwood Slovenian Home. Vic always had a fond place in his heart for trains and Euclid Beach Park where he met his wife, Vera, of 64 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica (Gradisar); his loving family including sons, Victor, Kenneth (Sherri) and daughter, Veronica (George) Novotney. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, Pamela (Jeff) White, Katie, Christopher, Kenneth, Kevin and Christy; great grandfather of Benjamin and Samantha White; and brother of Frank and Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stephanie (Kraker); and his brother, Joseph. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 24, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1730 Mount Carmel Drive, Wickliffe, OH 44092. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 23, at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Konnerth, Sally J.*  
"Together Again" Sally J. Konnerth peacefully passed away on January 16, 2015. She was born in Struthers, Ohio on December 24, 1928. Sally was a longtime server for the Willowick Brown Derby, loved to sew, and was the world's best babysitter. Sally will be remembered for her great love of Christmas and most of all, her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her children, Fred (Marlene) Konnerth Jr., Kathleen (Terry) Carver, Carol (Lee, deceased) Ketchum, Mary E. (Dennis) Suchetka and Barb Haskett; her 14 grandchildren; and her eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Fred E. Konnerth, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, at St. Peregrine Chapel, 22953 Detroit Rd., Westlake. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
