Smith, Craig R.*  
Craig R. Smith, 67, of Madison, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Lesly; their son, Corey; his children, Bryon (Kristi), Alison (Mike); his first wife and friend, Lynne; and sister, Sue (Brad). He is also remembered by his three loving grand puppies, Bentley, Zoe, and Luna. Craig graduated from Mentor High School in 1966. He enlisted in the Marines during the Vietnam War and proudly served his country. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a machinist at Swagelok for over 30 years. Craig was actively involved in Boy Scouting as a leader for both of his sons. He was a member of the Virago Owner's Club and was involved in many charitable causes. In his free time, he could be seen with his wife motorcycling across the country, kayaking, bicycling, and always enjoying life to the fullest. He was the nicest and most caring father, husband, and friend to all. Per his wishes, there will be no services; however, please support his favorite charities, Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Smith, Raymond A.*  
Raymond A. Smith, 77, of Willowick, passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 in Chardon. Born February 15, 1938 in Cleveland, he has been a Willowick resident for 60 years. Raymond was in the Navy for 11 years, a minister for 10 years, and was an avid sports fan of all the home teams. Survivors are his beloved wife of 28 years Maria. Funeral service will be Friday, September 4th, 11 a.m. at Jack Monreal- Coyne Funeral Home, 31925 Vine Street in Willowick. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday September 3rd also at the funeral home. Raymond will be buried at Willoughby Memorial Garden Cemetery. www.jackmonreal.com

Spaller, Richard "Dick"*  
Memorial services for Richard "Dick" P. Spaller, age 88, of Painesville, will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home Dick was born January 17, 1927, in Painesville, and passed away August 23, 2015, at Wickliffe Country Place. Dick served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was employed by Victor R. Browning in Willoughby for 14 years, and Joseph Dyson in Painesville for 16 years. He retired from the Village of Fairport Harbor after 10 years. He was a member of Fairport Congregational Church, V.F.W. Post 7754 in Fairport Harbor, and the Painesville Horseshoe Club where he was a two time world champion in his class. He also bowled for many years at Rich Lanes in Fairport Harbor. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Leathers) Spaller, whom he married on July 9, 1949; daughters, Jeannette (Oscar) Manns and Karen Bentley; son, Richard (Debra) Spaller, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bert Bentley; brothers, Gilbert, Kenneth, Lynn, Jack, Donald, Robert and Maynard Spaller; sisters, Helen Scheibelhoffer, Doris Tilson, Evelyn Warren and Lois Luhta; parents, John and Jessie (Mallory) Spaller; and stepfather, Howard Armesy. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5796 Heisley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060.

Stevens, Mary C.*  
Mary C. Stevens, 68, of Painesville, died on August 23, 2015 at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center. She was born on June 1, 1947 in Painesville to the late Carlyle "Bud" and Wilma (nee: Cunningham) Little. Mary was a switchboard operator for Lake Hospital System for the past 25 years. She was a member of Painesville Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Survivors are her children, Patricia (Rick) Isabella, Christopher (Natalie) Stevens, and Molly (Gary Landon) Homerick all of Painesville Twp.; grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Alex, William, Jacob, Ryan, Patrick, and Meredith; great grandchild, William; brothers, Bill (Diane) Little of Wellington, and Don (Sheila) Little of Painesville Twp; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Valerie Inman. Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College) Painesville, Ohio 44077. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in Perry Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to University Hospital Geauga Medical Center.
