Coyne, Martin "Uncle Allie"*  
Martin "Uncle Allie" Coyne died peacefully April 14, 2015, at Villa Camillus in Columbia Station. He was born Sept. 4, 1932, in Cleveland. Allie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a very caring, compassionate man, generous with his time, helping friends and family. He took an early retirement as a pipefitter (Pipefitters Local Union 120) to take care of his mother and years later, helped take care of his brother John. He enjoyed many friendships golfing, fishing and hosting weekly card games. One of his favorite activities was helping his friends, Myron and Thelma, in their huge garden. Those who loved him and will miss his wonderful story telling and sense of humor and who will have memories of him spoiling them with treats are his nephew, Marty and wife Beth and their children; nieces, Maureen and husband Donny and their children, Beth and husband Tom and their children, Patty and husband R.C., and Katie and husband Salim and their children; also sister-in-law, Evelyn Coyne. He is also survived by cousins, Tommy Joe (Carol) Marrie and Nancy Marrie. His parents, Martin and Bessie Coyne; brother, John; infant nephew, John; and cousins, Mary, Jack and Jimmy, are deceased. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private. Our family gives thanks for the loving, compassionate and comfort care of the staff at Villa Camillus, 10515 E. Danford, Robert E.*  
Funeral Mass for Robert E. Danford, U.S. Army Air Corps, Col. Ret., 90, of Willoughby Hills, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Chris Weber will officiate. Mr. Danford passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. Born April 3, 1925, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 60 years, living in Mentor before moving to Willoughby Hills. He was a retired Colonel of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II in military intelligence. Mr. Danford was a member of Palmer-Roberts American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby, V.F.W. Post 1500 in Willoughby and Willoughby Lions Club. He was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Holy Name Society of the church, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council 2886, where he served many years as financial secretary and the Fourth Degree Cardinal Newman General Assembly. He loved his family, was a pilot who enjoyed flying and was a Civil War buff. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Mr. Danford was also an accountant all of his life, retiring from Danford & Associates of Willoughby. He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Jean M. (nee DePompei) Danford; loving father of Debbie (Kent) Carpenter, Bill (Joan) Danford, Danette (Joseph) Charnowski, Jim Danford, Bob Danford, Mike (Terri) Danford, Matt (Donna) Danford, Danny Danford, Chris (Shari) Danford, Tom (Ellie) Danford and Mark Danford; cherished grandfather of 19; great-grandfather of three; brother of Dick Danford; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Alice (nee Ray) Danford; and sisters, Patricia Rothaas and Janice Barnes. Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Dotson, Carolyn*  
Carolyn Dotson, 77, died April 22, 2015. She was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Oakhill, West Virginia, to Juanita Worley. Mrs. Dotson had an avid love for animals, and was interested in politics and current events. She was highly devoted to her family and pets. Mrs. Dotson is survived by her husband, Jessie Dotson; sons, Jessie Dotson Jr. and Daniel Dotson; daughter, Dianne McVey; grandchildren, Jeffery Harris, Lisa Harris, and Spencer George; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Harris and Kristen Harris. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Worley; daughter, Sandra Harris; brother, Franklyn Worley. Friends and family may call at Jakubs Danaher Funeral home on Tuesday April 28, 2015, at 7 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 1, 2015, at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Willoughby Memorial Gardens. Drury, Harry A.*  
Harry A. Drury passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 and is now living eternally with his Heavenly Father. Harry was born on September 16, 1942 to Edith and Fred Drury, in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up with brothers Fred and Carl, now deceased and Jim (Diana) who lives in Ohio. Harry has two children, Scott (Julie) in Ohio, and Rebecca ( Greg) Winters in Seattle. He was also Dad and Best friend to his little dog, Tucker On October 12, 1997 he married Carol Bowers, and they had 17 happy years together, blessed by many good friends and wonder extended family. Harry adored his grandchildren; Joshua and Matthew Winters, Tristan and Abigail Hatto, and Everet Lemon. He was anxiously awaiting the birth of baby Drury in October. Harry was also very close to Carol's daughter, Melanie Hatto and Heather Lemon. Harry loved to play golf, board games , tinker with tools, do home repairs, and anything that involved friends.Harry was especially proud to have served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was currently working part-time driving and testing new automobiles, a job he loved. Harry volunteered with the auxiliary at Chelsea Hospital and in many capacities at his home church, Dexter United Methodist, where a memorial service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather Monday, May 11, 2015 from 12-2p.m. Pastor Steve Bringardner will be the celebrant. Harry's goofy personality and cheerful demeanor will be missed by all who knew him.
