Graveside services and interment for Angela L. (Crahen) Carolin, 88, of Willoughby, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Williams Cemetery (located on Vrooman Road, one mile south of Interstate 90) in Leroy Township. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Kaminski will officiate.
Mrs. Carolin passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born June 12, 1925, in Cleveland, she had lived in Willoughby for the past 57 years.
Mrs. Carolin was an avid dancer, very active in numerous square and round dancing groups for more than 30 years as a member of the Dancing Shadows, East and West Evergreens, Carousels, Happy Souls and Twirl-Arounds for many years. She also enjoyed swimming at the West End YMCA in Willoughby.
Mrs. Carolin was employed as a computer operator at Meister Publishing in Willoughby, retiring in 1988 after 10 years of service.
Survivors are her children, Patricia Ann (Burt) Bork of Leroy Township, Michael E. (Joan) Carolin of Jefferson, Robert J. (Patricia) Carolin of Medina and Steven Carolin of Willoughby; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eamon J. Carolin on Dec. 6, 2002. Her parents, James and Angelus (Leideman) Crahen; and siblings, Vincent, James, Frank, Raymond and Rosemary are also deceased.
