Anthony "Tony" Passalacqua, age 89, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2014, in Plant City, Florida with his devoted son Anthony Jr. at his side. He was born June 8, 1924, to Salvatore and Rose (Pusateri) Passalacqua.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 5, at St. Noel Church, 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH.
Anthony spent his life working in transportation with his brothers as co-owner and vice president of operations of a trucking company. He also loved watching old western movies.
He is survived by his wife, Ginni Mancin, of 53 years; sons, Terry (Sonja), and Tony Jr.; daughter, Rose Mary (Rich) Robey; brother, Julius (Cecilia); sister, Christine (Leonard) Vaccaro; grandchildren, Marc, Damien (Natalie), Tori, and Richard (Alexandria) Robey Jr.; 8 great grandchildren; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; his devoted companion and shadow Max.
He was preceded in death by wife, Freda (Nelson); son, Richard "Ricky"; brother, Roy (Eurydice).
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Rd. (at Lander Rd.), Mayfield Hts.
Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
