Born July 10, 1931, in Euclid, to Bertha (Baitt) and Charles Starman, she married John Roberts in Ripley, N.Y., Nov. 14, 1946.
Connie was active with the Red Hatters at the Madison Senior Center. She had a passion for life and her travels took her to all 50 states, 38 cruises and around the world. She particularly liked her times spent at her second home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She enjoyed making special holiday traditions and spending time with her family and friends.
Connie's family would like to thank their friends for their constant support, prayers and messages of hope.
She is survived by sons, Gary Roberts of Mentor and John Roberts of Concord Township; daughter-in-law, Barbara Roberts of Willoughby; grandchildren, Sherri (Bob) Zahorsky of Willoughby, Bob (Kim) Roberts of Willoughby Hills and Denise (Chris) Culek of Chester Township; great-grandchildren, Angela, Alec, Dominic, Bobby, Grace, Charlie, Gia and Nicholas; sister, Bertha "Babe" (Gilbert) Kandrac of Roaming Shores; sister-in-law, Delores Starman of Willoughby; and brother-in-law, Ken Roberts of Mentor.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Roberts; son, Robert; parents; and brother, Charles.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
