Cynthia L. (Fawcett) Sernaque, 52, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away June 1, 2013, in Orlando, Fla.
Born June 2, 1960, in Euclid, she was a Euclid resident before moving to Florida 33 years ago.
Mrs. Sernaque graduated from Euclid High School in 1978, and from X-Ray School at Cleveland Metro. She was employed at South West Florida Imaging Center for 15 years and was an expert radiographer-MRI-CT Scan, Mammo and Dexa. She was previously employed at Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, Fla.
Cynthia was a member of New Day Church in Port Charlotte. Her hobbies included frequenting garage sales and thrift stores to find that special treasure, and driving her antique 1949 GMC truck that her husband had restored for her.
Survivors are her mother, Patty Fawcett; husband, Marc Sernaque; daughters, Taylor and Morgan; grandson, Cayden; granddaughter, Mason; stepson, Alden; aunts and uncles, Terry and Wendy Fawcett and Karyn and Bill Futchi; and cousins, Sara Lane, Lee and Cathy Fawcett, Amy and Jeff Conforti, Mandy and Jack Elgin, Bill and Nancy Futchi, Holly North and Bill and Ruth Fawcett.
She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Fawcett; brothers, Timothy and Neil Jr.; and grandparents, Ruth and Leroy Wright of Florida and Pearl and George Fawcett of Eastlake.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at Boulevard Presbyterian with Pastor Ann McCabe officiating.
