Deborah "Debi" (nee Brezina) Rowley, 48, of Blue Grass, Iowa, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Davenport, Iowa., with her husband, William "BJ" Rowley.
Debi was born Oct. 26, 1964, in Cleveland, to Carl Brezina and Kathleen Meditz.
She was a graduate of Chardon High School before going to college and joining the U.S. Army
. She and BJ were stationed in Washington, Germany and Colorado before moving to Iowa in 2012.
Debi was employed as a civilian contractor with the U.S. Army while her husband was on active duty.
She is survived by her parents, Carl (Mary) Brezina of Akron and Kathleen (nee Meditz) (Sandy) Carmigiano of Chardon Township; brother, Joseph Carmigiano of Chardon; sisters, Dawn (Dave) Zenobi of Florida, and Traci (Craig) Briscoe and Angela (Adam) Gigliotti, both of Texas; grandfathers, Carl Brezina and Godfrey Meditz; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Debi was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Brezina.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon, with funeral services to immediately follow at 8 p.m.
Debi and BJ will be interred together at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
