Dianne R. Chamar, 68, a lifelong Lake County resident, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 30, 1945, in Painesville.
Mrs. Chamar worked for the Lake County Commissioners for 28 years until her retirement in 2005. Dianne was an avid and accomplished painter and artist. She had a passion for bird watching.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Chamar; children, Pam (Don) Budzicki of Mentor, Dawn Marie (Gary) Johnston of Perry and Lori (Charlie Wiley) Chamar of Mentor; grandchildren, Mike (Melissa Voinovich) Budzicki, George (Blaire) Budzicki, Ryan (Brittney Rinella) Budzicki, John Wiley, Megan Budzicki, Paul Johnston, Desirea Johnston, Megan Alexander-Johnston, Rachel Wiley, Ally Chamar and Audrey Johnston; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Glen Parkin of Mentor; mother in law, Annamarie Chamar of Fort Wayne , Ind.; sister in law, Ellen Chamar of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and many other family and friends.
Preceding Dianne in death are her parents: Elbridge and Helen Parkin.
A Celebration of Dianne's life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
