Dolores L. Fischer, 78, of Cleveland, formerly of Euclid, passed away peacefully Feb. 20, 2013, at Judson Park.
Dolores was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Cleveland.
She graduated from Shaw High School and attended Case Western Reserve University. Dolores' hobbies included skiing, traveling, crossword puzzles and friends. Dolores also enjoyed fashion and was a talented seamstress and clothing designer.
She had worked for former Huron Road Hospital, former Eastern Airlines, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer from where she retired.
She is survived by her brother, Henry Fischer (Marsha); nieces and nephew, Peggy Burton, William Fischer (Christine), and Julie Fischer; and great-nieces and great-nephew, Amanda Burton, Emma Fischer and Simon Fischer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry J. and Della G. (Brown) Fischer.
A Christian funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will take place at Whitehaven Cemetery in Mayfield Village after the service.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family greatly appreciates the love and care that all the Judson staff provided over the years and the added kindness of Hospice in her final days.
