Franklin Holy(1933-2013)

Funeral services for Franklin Holy, 80, a resident of Chardon Township since 1993, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church, 8091 Plank Road, Thompson, OH 44086. (Please meet at the church.)
Mr. Holy passed away March 9, 2013.
Born March 3, 1933, in Thompson, Mr. Holy was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Carpenters Union Local 95, and past member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a former zoning inspector for Chardon and Thompson. Franklin also loved the Geauga Senior Center.
A carpenter, he owned the former Frank Holy Builders company.
Survivors are his daughters, Joanne (Robert) Heun, Jamie (Charles) Nicoletti and Joyce Yopko; grandchildren, Nicolaus (Lynn) and Thomas (Katelyn) Heun, Chad (Meredith) and Julia Nicoletti, Jenna, Leo Jr. and Hannah Rumbutis; great-granddaughters, Sofia Rumbutis and Elena Nicoletti; brothers, George (Marge) and Joseph Holy; sisters, Helen Skoch, Martha (Charles) Virant and Marilyn (Robert) Schwartz; brother-in-law, James Ptak; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sonja in 2006; parents, Joseph and Anna (Bergman) Holy; sister, Jennie Ptak; and sister-in-law, Carol Holy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Private family interment will take place at a later time.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Grace Lutheran Church (see address above) or Geauga County Dept. on Aging, Adult Day Care, 12555 Ravenna Drive, Chardon, OH 44024.
