Franklin J. Braccia, age 77, of Eastlake, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at his home.
He was born on January 13, 1937, in Cleveland to Frank and Maria, both deceased.
Frank was a machinist, who retired from the Eaton Corp. He grew up and attended Collinwood High School. He continued to expand his knowledge and achieved his educational goals later in life. He was an avid fisherman and had a natural ability with technology. He was a proud US Army
Korean Era Veteran. While stationed in Germany, he met and brought over to the United States his first wife and mother of his children. He had a touch for cooking and creating delicious meals. He loved to feed his family not only with food but with a lot of love too. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Frank is survived by his loving family, his children, Michele (Tom) Marchiano and Frank H. (Karen) Braccia; his grandson, Joe Marchiano; and his sister, Edith Grivas
Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Greta Rita Braccia and his second wife, Kathy Braccia; his grandson, Anthony DeGennaro; his son-in-law, Victor DeGennaro; and his siblings, Rose, Josephine and Michael
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 3, 2014, at Monreal Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at All Souls Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
