Fred Charles Marks, 70, of Madison, passed away March 14, 2012, at Madison Healthcare.
He was born May 18, 1941, in Euclid, was a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident living in Cleveland, Willoughby, Thompson, and Madison.
Fred worked for the Conrail for 25 years where he retired in 1996. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps
Mr. Marks was a member of F&AM Cleveland. He enjoyed photography, deep thinking and theology.
Survivors are his son, David (Tama) Marks of Madison; daughters, Laura (Tracy) Thompson of Chardon, Jennifer (Joe Marckese) Marks of Montville and Wendy (Dave Bruzanko) Marks of Montville; grandchildren, Sherla and Adam Dales, Brandon Case, Matthew, Sean, Derek, Megan, and Nathan Marks; two great-grandchildren; and former wife, Judith Marks of Aquilla Village.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Ann (Kavocic) Marks; brother, Robert Marks; and grandson, Mark Dales.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (State Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson.
