Genevieve "Jean" (nee Drozin) Pursch

Services for Genevieve ""Jean"" (nee Drozin) Pursch, age 96, of Eastlake will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Rev. Kevin Liebhardt will officiate Services.
Mrs. Pursch passed away Saturday, March 29 at the Slovene Home in Cleveland.
She was born February 15, 1918, in Cleveland.
Jean was employed by Pick-n-Pay Super Market. She loved to go to casinos, golfing, and her monthly lunches with her Pick-n-Pay Retirees, but most of all spending time with her family.
Survived by her loving children, Marianne Balash, Kathy Pursch, and Judy Ponikvar; cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Michael (Tabytha) Balash and Julie (Jamie) Bauer; great-grandmother, of Joey, Shelby (Travis) Dake, Brandon, Michael, Hannah, Matthew, Brianna, and James; great-great-grandmother of Lennox; sister-in-Law, Helen Drozin; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony E. ""Smiley""; great-granddaughter, Becca; son-in-laws, Joe Balash, Jack Ponikvar; siblings, Paul Drozin, Bertha and Joe Stalzer, Anne Drozin, Marty Morgan; and niece, Christine Gudin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 at the Jakubs-Danaher Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
The family suggests donations may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
