Grace M. (Farinacci) Leinweber, 83, a longtime Mentor resident, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Emeritus of Willoughby.
Born Dec. 23, 1929, in Cleveland, Mrs. Leinweber was a homemaker and worked for a time at Mothercare at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor.
She was a former member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and was most recently a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She attended Ursuline High School, and loved reading and watching the Cleveland Indians. Mrs. Leinweber was a woman who was very religious and prayed every day.
Survivors are her husband, Robert L. Leinweber; children, Judith (Michael) Bartok of Brunswick, Thomas (Carol) Leinweber of Kingman, Ariz., Kenneth (Debbie) Leinweber of Fort Wayne, Ind., William Leinweber of Cincinnati, Mary Mervar of Kingman, Ariz., and David (Katie) Leinweber of Mentor; grandchildren, Laura and Zachary Bartok, Christopher and Patrick Leinweber, Jennifer (Ryan) Wooldridge and Kristy Leinweber, Elizabeth Mervar and Joshua (Kelly) Hayes. She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Mary) Farinacci of Highland Heights.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Farinacci; and son-in-law, Douglas Mervar.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
