Born Aug. 2, 1922, in Cleveland, Harry was a World War II
veteran. He had been a resident of Euclid since 1961, after moving from Cleveland. A graduate of Collinwood High School, he worked as a machinist for several manufacturing companies.
Harry enjoyed spending time at the Euclid Senior Center, working puzzles, playing golf and bowling, watching all sports – especially football and the Indians, and listening to big band music. He loved his dogs! His family will remember him as a hard-working, faithful, family man who was generous with his time.
Survivors are his sons, Mitch (Candy) of Willowick and Richard (Patricia) of Arizona; and grandsons, Jason, Daniel (Melissa) and Ryan (Ashley). He was also the dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Stiadle); parents, Victor and Magdalena (nee Dickard) Taydch; and brothers, Thomas and Richard.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Harry from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Family suggests contributions may be made in Harry's memory to the Lake Humane Society.
