Helen (Knisely) Rodavich, 99, of Painesville Township for the past eight years and formerly of Ashtabula, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born April 19, 1914, in Bellefonte, Pa., Helen was an avid bowler and participated in two leagues weekly until failing eyesight prevented any further activity at the age of 90.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie (Les) Dawson of Painesville Township; grandchildren, John S. (Sandi) Dawson of Boise, Idaho, Melissa Wheaton of Meridan, Idaho, and Les (Lindsey Thomas) Dawson Jr. of Euclid; great-granddaughters, Hailey, Shelby and Chloe; great-grandson, Christopher (Crystal) Johnson of Ashtabula; great-great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; and brothers, Charles (Pat) Knisely of Vero Beach, Fla., and Thomas (JoNell) Knisely of Bellefonte, Pa.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Steven J. Rodavich; four sisters; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in the chapel at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 East Center St., North Kingsville.
