Funeral Mass for James Edward Eiflander, 51, of Cleveland, will be held privately for his family. Mr. Eiflander died May 31, 2014, from injuries sustained in a fall at the Anthony J. Celebreeze Federal Building in Cleveland.
He was born on October 9, 1962, in New York City, New York. He had been a resident of Cleveland for 30 years, and member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Collinwood. He was a proud ironworker, and member of Union Local # 17. He was devoted to his work.
He is survived by his children, Jaimee and Anthony of Willoughby; grandson, Gregory Bambic; brothers, John (Sharon), Bill, and Dave (all of the New Jersey area); many nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Christina "Tina" Villella of Willoughby.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Jim on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m. at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
Entombment in Lake View Cemetery Mausoleum will be private.
