Janet L. (Sullivan) Ratkovich, 79, of Mentor, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born March 3, 1934, in Cleveland, she lived there before moving to Mentor 45 years ago.
Mrs. Ratkovich loved gardening and being with her family.
Janet was the beloved wife of 60 years to Emil Ratkovich; loving mother of Milan Ratkovich of Geneva, Debra L. Ratkovich of Painesville and Michael B. (Lynn) Ratkovich of Killeen, Texas; cherished grandmother of Sarah, Jason, Shaun, Tia and Jennifer; great-grandmother of Cody, Becky, Tasia, Jayden, Lucas and Damien; sister of Joyce Hodor and Richard Sullivan; and sister-in-law of Dorothy Ratkovich. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sophie (nee Greener) Sullivan; and brothers, William and Terrence Sullivan.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.www.MCVfuneralhomes.com
