Mass of Christian Burial For Julie Ann Collins, 43, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Rd. Perry. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
She was born March 12, 1971 in Madison.
She passed away peacefully April 9, 2014, at her home in Perry with her family at her side.
She was a loving mother to Courtney and Nick and enjoyed spending time at all their activities. She was an amazing wife and best friend to Marc, and enjoyed their evenings on the back porch together. She enjoyed her very large close knit family, spending time at her parents pool, beach vacations, and playing games at all holiday events. She also loved shopping, movies, and dining with friends.
Julie was employed with the Lake County Public Defender's Office for 23 years.
She is survived by husband, Marc whom she married on October 15, 1994. Her twins, Courtney and Nick Collins; parents, Ronald "Tim" and Nancy (Angeloro) Steele; brother, Timothy "Timmy" Steele; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and her dog, Reggie.
Special thanks to her caregivers especially Doctors, Paula Silverman, Judah Friedman, and Hooman Soltanian at the UH Siedman Cancer Center and also doctors and staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve and all those who supported her during her journey.
Preceded in death by Maternal grandparents, Frank and Charlotte Angeloro; and Paternal grandparents, John and Pauline Steele. Her Maltese, Otis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to either the Siedman Cancer Center or Hospice of the Western Reserve
