After enjoying a full life and good health, LeMarr L. "Bud" French, 83, of Willowick, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, following an eight- month illness.
Bud was born Jan. 10, 1930, In Cleveland, to the late LeMarr H. and Mildred (nee Lewis) French. He graduated from Shaw High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict
, and then graduated from University of Toledo as a Registered Pharmacist.
He and his wife Pat most enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, with their daughters and a pop-up trailer, and then an R.V. In later years, their grandchildren traveled with them, so they could experience museums, factories, sights, sounds, national and natural history and the variety of tours in every state.
Bud worked as a Registered Pharmacist at many corner drug stores and owned French's Pharmacy in Euclid, as well.
He was loving husband for 59 years to Patricia (nee Solon); beloved father of Jane Clarke, Donna Cilensek and Nancy (Jack) Thorner; devoted "Pa" to grandchildren Katie (Tony) Laurich, Patrick M. (Karen) Clarke, Jr., Amy and Charlie Cilensek, Dylan, Lindsey and Dan Thorner; great-grandpa of Becca, Hannah and Emma Laurich, and Brayden Rodriguez; and Uncle Buddy to many nieces and nephews.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Harriet; and in-laws, Paul and Mildred Solon.
Funeral Service will be at noon on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Mullally Funeral Home, located in the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91). A private burial will follow.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon.
