Margaret (nee Pestalitz) (Miller) Hinger, 92, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Governor's Pointe Assisted Living in Mentor.
She was born Aug. 25, 1919, in Cleveland.
She grew up in the Buckeye neighborhood and graduated from John Adams High School in 1937.
While living in Euclid, for many years she worked at Maxim's Delicatessen and Society National Bank. Upon retirement, she moved to Cooper City, Fla., where she spent 23 years quilting, crafting, and crocheting while enjoying the warm sunshine.

Survivors are her daughters, Marjorie (Jim) Gibson and Suzanne (Harry) Aufdenberg; grandchildren, Chriss (Rob) Musilek and Jim (Karen) Gibson Jr.; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special niece, Roberta (Don) Kern of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hinger; parents, Sandor and Julia (nee Zilai) Pestalitz; siblings, Julia (John) Barto, Andrew (Amos) Pestalitz, Alex (Irene) Pestalitz, Matilda (Henry) Meitzke and Irene (Stanley) Sliwinski; and former husband, Fred Miller Jr.
At her request, no services will be held. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery at a later date.
