Margie Scott Davidson, 83, of Madison, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison.
Born July 22, 1928, in Painesville to Jenny (Goss) and Frank McGovern, she married Rob Davidson Aug. 24, 1974, in Thompson.
Mrs. Davidson worked as a cashier and produce clerk at Giant Eagle in Geneva for 25 years, retiring in 1990.
Margie was a great cook and she loved crocheting and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Rob Davidson of Madison; daughters, Karen Rogers of Madison and Tammy (Barry) Sullivan of Centerville; grandchildren, Jeremy (Heather) Rogers, Amy (Scott) Cameron, Gregory (Elizabeth) Rogers, Kyle Imlay, Jack and Julie Scott and Lisa (Ragon) Law; great-granddaughter, Maggie Ann Rogers; sisters, Mary Ann (Donny) Bliss and Lillian Brown; and sister-in-law, Irene McGovern.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Dale and Arthur; parents; brother, Frank; sisters, Rosie, Gertrude and Barbara; and son-in-law, Henry Rogers.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pastor James Burnett of Bible Baptist Church will be officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
