Marilyn C. LaPierre (nee Monroe)

Funeral Mass for Marilyn C. LaPierre (nee Monroe), 86, of Willoughby will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Father Christopher Weber will officiate at the Mass.
She passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Emeritus of Willoughby Assisted Living Center in Willoughby.
She was born Aug. 17, 1927, in Cleveland. She was a Lake County resident for 55 years.
Marilyn was a member of Palmer Roberts American Legion Auxiliary Unit 214 in Willoughby, Willoughby Senior Center at Browning Center, Willoughby Woman's Golf League and Bowling League.
She loved bowling and liked her casino trips.
She was the loving mother of James W. (Debra) LaPierre of Geneva, Nancy I. (Jim) Beaumont of Sammamish, WA, Linda S. Lesteshen of Fairport Harbor, Marie C. (Kevin) Kozan of Madison; cherished grandmother of Rachelle, Sarah, Kevin, Corey, Claire and Chad; great grandmother of Sophie and Mollie; and aunt of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved pet "Cali".
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene R. "Babe" LaPierre in 1991; sons, John M. LaPierre and William J. LaPierre; daughter-in-law, Gayle LaPierre; and parents, Lawrence and Gertrude (nee Ragg) Monroe.
Family will receive friends at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 16. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
