Phillip A. Samuele(1937-2012)

Phillip A. Samuele, 74, of Euclid, passed away March 11, 2012.
He was born Dec. 4, 1937, in Cleveland the beloved son of the late Rocco and Catherine Samuele.
He was the dearest brother of Ron (Linda), Robert (Elizabeth) and Jack; uncle of Vincent, Joey (Wendi) and Rocco (Marcia) Samuele, Lisa Ann Ogrin, Michelle Samuele and Jeffrey Samuele; great-uncle of Amanda, Sarah, Anthony, Ronald, Joey, Brendan; and nephew of Frances Masi, Rosalie Vantusko, Martha Tripi, Dr. Vincent J. Tripi and Katherine "Kitty" Tripi.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Sr. Mary Josefa, S.N.D. (Jean Tripi); and uncles, Salvatore Masi, Michael Vantusko, Phillip Tripi and Samuel (Nina, dec.) Tripi.
Mr. Samuele retired from Conrail/CSX Railroad Collinwood Diesel Terminal in Cleveland, after 28 years of service.
He was a graduate of Dyke College in Cleveland and served in the Ohio National Guard for six years.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake, 175 E. 200th St., Euclid. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
