Steven A. Tinner

Steven A. Tinner, age 43, of Painesville and formerly of Unionville, passed away suddenly at his home on March 29, 2014.
He was born December 9, 1970, in Euclid, Ohio.
Mr. Tinner enjoyed playing any type of game, science fiction, photography and card games with his friends. He also enjoyed reading and would read anything he could, no matter what the subject. He was currently producing a podcast called "Critical Glitch". He was very involved with his church, Painesville Church of the Nazarene, where he taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and enjoyed singing. He took a personal interest in everyone he met. He touched many lives of people of all ages. He graduated from Pillsbury Bible Baptist College with a minor in photography and majored in art and Bible. He will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor.
He had been employed at Office Max in the call center and previously at Fiserve as a mohawk operator and Gazzette Newspapers as a reporter and photographer.
Mr. Tinner is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Reichel) whom he married May 6, 2000; sister, Deborah (Tony) Cardaman; and brothers, Mark (Sharon) Tinner and Ken (Stephanie) Tinner. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Kaleb, Kaden and Seth Tinner, Alisa, Buddy and Aidan Cardaman and Sam and Ruby Nichols; as well as his parents Lester and Vivien (Crookshanks) Tinner; and in-laws Paul and Betty Reichel. He also leaves his sisters-in-laws; Amy Reichel and Heather (Josh) Nichols.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday, April 5 at Painesville Church of the Nazarene, 6235 Chestnut St., Concord.
A memorial service will be held noon Saturday at the church with Pastor Terry Weyman, Jr. officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the church.
