Grandma Betty,

It's just past midnight on the 25th of May, and it is so hard to believe it's been a year without you. I wish you were still here so we could go to church then lunch after, for your favorite chicken fingers and potato soup. I'd love to hear one more of your stories or play one more game of cards. Your stories are one of the things I miss the most. You sure knew how to make us laugh and enjoy life. I will always cherish the bond that we shared. I am so lucky to have had you for my grandma, friend and role model. You are one of a kind, grandma. Heaven gained a special lady the day that you arrived. Til we see each other again some day. I love you so much and miss you like crazy.

I too have a hard time when I go to your House Mom, and you're not there. I miss all of our telephone calls back and forth, and your would say Hello, and I would say its me, and then you would say its me pinky lee...So many times I wish I could call again, but I now send my love to you through my prayers, my thoughts and my dreams. I sit out back at night on my deck and look at the stars and talk to you. But I remember nothing loved is ever lost. All my love to you Mom...

It is August now, only a few months after you're gone. It's been hard to go to your house knowing something is missing this summer. You were closer to me growing up than the sweetest grandmother could ever had been expected to be. Grandpa and Mike are well, and we all miss you. Thank you for everything. Love you Grandma.

Grandma Betty, I miss you so much!!!!!!! I just wish I could talk to you once more, one more lunch after church, one more hug or one more card game. I thank you for being the best grandma and role model. You are such an amazing woman and touched everyone you came in contact with. I imagine you dancing on the golden streets in Heaven. We lost an amazing woman but Heaven gained one. I love you more than words could express Grandma. xoxoxoxoxox Tammy and Tom
