Jack Riddle Obituary
Born Dec. 18, 1936, in Painesville, Mr. Riddle passed away May 21, 2011, at his home.
A U.S. Army veteran, his hobbies included woodworking, collecting, and recording and listening to albums. He will be greatly missed by many.
Mr. Riddle was a self-employed painter and drywall finisher. He retired from Topps Supermarket in Painesville in 1998. He had also worked for the Grand River Lime Company.
Survivors are his wife, Nancy (Pizzino) Riddle, whom he married on Dec. 10, 1960; sons John (Lisa) Riddle, James (Kris) Riddle, and Mark Riddle; daughters Lisa (Joe) Miller, Nancy (Adam) Lung, and Terri (Dave) Zito; grandchildren Kristen, Josh, Jenna, Lauren, Jacqueline, Alexis, Emily, Jonathan, Gregory, Maria, Anna, and James. He also is survived by brothers Ron Chabotte, Roger Chabotte, and Tom Riddle; sister, Georgene Somnitz; and his four-legged companion, CoCo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Paul) Chabotte; his grandfather, George Paul; and his brother, Gene Chabotte.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family.

Dear Jim and Mark, May you have only the fondest memories of your father. I am sorry to hear of your loss. He must have been very proud to have you as his sons! I am sure it must be true of the rest of your family as well.
