I will always be a friend to my beautifully light-hearted Betty and was saddened greatly over her untimely departure. She and her fun antics will always live on in my mind as we shared great love and feedback on Facebook. God Bless you Betty and all of your Loving Family.

You were always the shining light. You made this world a better place. You were kind, encouraging, compassionate and never without a smile. A bright beautiful smile. Heaven is brighter now that you are Home with God. Thank you for inspiring me and others to be a better person.

Dearest Betty, It was a very sad day when we learned of your passing yesterday, very sad. We first met through your sister Sue, I managed the women's softball team for Reliance Electric, you were a Great player. You and the girls won the division 4, I still have a signed ball from the team. Then we played mud volleyball which raised funds for the epilepsy foundation, you were always finding ways to give to others. The lunches we did sharing stories were very nice, you were a delight to talk with, your friendship was cherished. You were strong in faith, you understood how God intended the world to be with people helping people. I'm sure you are already in the gates of heaven for your actions on earth were strong. We wish for your daughters, their families and all of your family strength as they say goodbye to you here on earth. Thanks for all you gave the world. With Love & Peace!

Betty and I were friends on fb, both fellow treasure hunters. Although I had never met Betty, we got on like we'd known each other for years! I had written on my to do notes to 'Contact Betty' to see if she wanted to go to the Buckeye Treasure Hunt in New Concord, Ohio on August 18th unfortunately never got the chance to meet this person who made me feel like family. God Bless you and your Family Betty!!

Betty and I shared many laughs as well as some tears over the years. I had the very great pleasure of singing alongside her for many years leading worship at the church where we belonged. My kids and her kids were AWANA buddies as well as just friends. I'm only able to deal with this tragedy due to the certain knowledge that this seperation is only temporary. we will meet again in the presence of our Savior. Betty I love you and will miss you. To Betties family, I hope you all know how much I love and appreciate you. God will bless you and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Words cannot describe how shocked and saddened I am by this tremendous loss. I am so sorry and my heart is breaking for her family. I am a fellow detectorist and knew Betty through FB. She was here last May but I didn't get a chance to meet her in person. I have to say Betty was the most vibrant and positive person with always a kind word. She was so happy and upbeat and always had a smile. I enjoyed her posts and messages and will miss her terribly. The world has lost a beautiful soul.

My heart is broken for this lovely, vibrant, intelligent, talented, fun-loving woman. A true
lady after my own heart, she was a metal detectorist and a lover of the great outdoors. She truly was a girl that ROCKED metal detecting and the world in which she lived. Siren Kimmie xoxo

What a loss to the world. Betty was on our radio show several times, always willing to help even at the last min. Her smile, the jingle in her voice will always be remembered.

Betty was one of the first people I met at church when I was a new Christian. She was always very sweet, smiling, and encouraging to me. To her family, I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss and sorrow but I'm rejoicing that your separation is temporary. But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"- - 1 Corinthians 2:9
