I did not know of Loretta's passing until this week. I had called her on her birthday, Dec. 14th but was unable to reach her and had no name to call. Loretta had been a friend for many years and a part of the "Mermaid" Club that consisted of 4 woman who met in a pool and loved to swim. We met for lunch until one by one they were gone and I am the only surviving Mermaid. loretta was a kind person & the last time we had lunch together was at Perkins, close to her home. My sympathy to her children. I have many good memories and attached is a photo of a Mermaid Lunch.

What a wonderful person. Some of my best childhood memories include Mrs. Purtell. I will always remember the doll cake she baked for one of my birthdays; the annual summer trips to Euclid Beach, and how after my Dad died, it was Mrs. Purtell who taught me to drive and take me for my driver's test. What a special lady. We love and miss you... Robin Palmer and the George family

I've been missing you for the past several months as you slowly slipped away from us. You're now at peace and with God and I'm sure he welcomed you with open arms. You've been a wonderful sister. Love you always. Carol
