Mary Sinkovic Obituary
Mrs. Sinkovic passed away May 31, 2011, in Willoughby.
Born May 4, 1915, in Cleveland, she had lived there before moving to Willoughby.
Mary was a member of AMLA Lodge 27, serving as secretary for 27 years, the Slovenian Women's Union No. 10, St. Mary's Pensioners, Holmes Avenue Pensioners, AARP Chapter 1550, and SDZ Honor Guards.
Mrs. Sinkovic was a retired bookkeeper from Acme Federal Credit Union. She had also previously worked at Jack and Heinz, North American Bank, AMLA Treasurer Supreme Board and the Humphrey Company.
She was the dear mother of Allan and Robert (Laura); grandmother of Tricia (Ed) Terauds, Allan Jr., Scott (Vanessa), Tina (John), Tracey, David (Samantha), Jason, Megan and Brandon; and great-grandmother of Brianna, Eddy, "Little" Ricky, Kylea, Jake, Morgan, Logan and Madyson.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Edward Sinkovic; and brothers, Edward and Louis Marn.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at Jakubs & Son Funeral Home, 936 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119. The Rev. John M. Kumse of St. Mary Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland, will officiate. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
